AP report on Iranian blogs is BIASED

AP ( Associated Press) just published a report on the death of an Iranian blogger in prison. Here is very disappointing part of this biased report:
“Authorities had been making cyber-raids for years. Their first salvo was attempts to block specific blogs and Web sites. But hackers bypassed the controls by using proxy sites and other Web shortcuts. Then arrests started after the election of Ahmadinejad in 2005.”
Hello…if you just google a little bit you will find out with out any investigation that most of the bloggers got ARRESTED BEFORE AHMADINEJAD came to power. During Khatami’s period most of the arrests happened and reformist government failed to stop it.
How AP can ignore it and how its journalists write such a biased report. I really ask AP make necessary corrections and rely on more professional people.
There are more problems with the report. It talks about two prominent jailed bloggers and cite only one name. Honest with u I will be happy to learn about the second one!
This post is not to defend Ahmadinejad or go against reformist but just to say western media fail again and again to report in a professional way on Iran and its citizen media!

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

welcome to the club. No wonder people call it al-AP. It’s a biased, non-trustworthy piece of crap. I never ever trust al-Reuters, al-AP, MSNBC, CNN, BBC, CBC, ABC, CBS…. These are organizations run by hardcore leftists who care about nothing but their own pockets.
Thanks for the review!
Nice work! I’ll have to do a cross post on this one
